kexi-mysql-driver software package provides MySQL support for kexi, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kexi-mysql-driver
kexi-mysql-driver is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kexi-mysql-driver package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kexi-mysql-driver *
You will get with kexi-mysql-driver package name, version, architecture and description in a table
